UConn’s Accelerated Master of Science in Supply Chain Management (MSSCM) is specifically designed for UConn undergraduate students, providing an expedited route to a master's degree. Qualified UConn students from any school or major may combine undergraduate courses with graduate-level study, earning both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in as little as five years. Applying in their junior years, accepted students complete 6 graduate-level credits while an undergraduate, then complete the remaining 24 credits as a graduate student to complete their MS, saving time and money. Courses are available online with in-person options on the Hartford and Stamford campuses, providing a seamless transition from undergraduate to graduate studies. Accelerated MS in Supply Chain Management at a Glance
- Designed for UConn undergraduates to achieve the MSSCM degree faster and at lower cost.
- Complete 6 graduate credits as an undergraduate, then 24 as a graduate, for a total of 30 credits (6 required core and 4 elective courses).
- Course Fees (2025-26): Save 20% on your master’s degree! Take 6 MSSCM course credits at no additional cost as an undergraduate (provided you stay within your credit limit). The additional 24 graduate credits are billed at $1,200 per credit, or a total of $28,800.

Curriculum Overview
The MS in Supply Chain Management (MSSCM) is a 30-credit program with six required core courses and your choice of four elective courses. Accelerated MSSCM students complete six (6) of the required graduate credits as an undergraduate, then complete the remaining 24 as a graduate student.
Accelerated Course Requirements (6 credits)
While an undergraduate, Accelerated MSSCM students must complete two courses (6 credits) specified below with a grade of “B” or better, and meet overall GPA requirements as follows:
- OPIM 5110: Operations Management (3 credits)
- One of the following courses:
- OPIM 5111: Supply Chain Analytics (3 credits)
- OPIM 5112: Strategic Sourcing (3 credits)
- OPIM 5113: Distribution & Logistics (3 credits)
- OPIM 5270: Introduction to Project Management (3 credits)
- OPIM 5603: Statistics in Business Analytics (3 credits)
- OPIM 5641: Business Decision Modeling (3 credits)
- Successfully complete UConn undergraduate degree while maintaining the minimum cumulative GPA for admission to the UConn Graduate School.
Graduate Course Requirements (24 credits)
Having completed the Accelerated Course requirements above, students must then complete 24 additional credits which, in combination with those completed in the Accelerated phase, will complete the Six Core and Four Elective courses required to complete the 30-credit MSSCM degree:

Application Process
For current UConn undergraduate students, application to the Accelerated MSSCM program involves a two-step process, including a Pre-Graduate Program application during Fall semester of their junior year for the undergraduate phase of the Accelerated program, followed by a Graduate Program application to the MSSCM program.
